FINLAND TAIPALE CROSS W/ AWARD AND MORE AWARDS (8)
Finnish Taipale Campaign Cross (Taipaleen Risti), bronze, hallmarked 'KUNNIGMERKKITEHDAS', on sewn ribbon, with award certificate presented to Mrs. Mirja Kinnunen in memory of her son, private Juhani Kinnunen, who was killed in action on 13 December, 1939 at Terenttia (Taipale front).
WITH six additional award certificates.
1. Finnish award document for the 'Commemorative Medal of the Continuation War 1941-45', issued to Warrant Officer VILJO NESTOR AARTKOSKI (born Feb. 26.1901), issued at Helsinki 1957.
2. Lot of two Finish award documents for the Blue Cross. The first certificate is in Finnish, issued to Res. Lieutenant Antero Saike, issued at Tampereella (Tampere), October 1967. The second document is issued in Swedish for Swedish speaking recipients, unissued.
3. Finnish WWII Air Force Memorial Cross award document issued to Antero Saike, Helsinki March 6, 1956.
4. Finnish award certificate for the WWII Central Karelian Ishtmus Cross 1939-1940 (Keski-Kannaksen Risti), unissued.
5. Finnish award certificate for the WWII Lapland Cross 1939-40 (Lapplands Kors), unissued.
Very good collection of rare award documents from Finland. Eight pieces in total.
