The Mizrachi Women's Organization of America (MWOA) was first established as an independent women's organization in the Mizrachi movement led by Bessie Gottesfeld and Adela Goldstein in the United States. Later in 1934, the organization was officially declared an independent organization for the national religious woman in the Land of Israel. Its goals were defined in 1936 as "rebuilding" the Land of Israel in the spirit of traditional (Orthodox) Judaism, supporting all Mizrahi enterprises in the Jewish community in the Land of Israel, the Jewish National Fund and the Keren Hayesod, and Indeed, over the years the organization has operated and established many institutions in this spirit in the Land of Israel. In the movement, women served independently.
