A book of photographs by the Polish-Jewish photographer and architect Jacob Benaur Kalter.
Documentation of the Jewish settlement in Palestine through photographs. Years: 1920-1930.
The book includes 20 black-and-white photographs of settlements and Jewish manual workers, the title page bears a personal dedication by Daniel Ben-Or Kalter, the author's son.
On the front cover there is an embossed inscription on a silver background: "Photos from the working Land of Israel. Published by E.S. Adler.
Printing and binding by Eretz-Israel Art Press, the heliography images were printed in Vienna.
Condition: hard cover with slightly separated cloth spine, slightly worn and stained, partially separated, on the inside, rust and time stains, a few worming lesions. Dimensions: 25x21.5 cm
