Ohr Hachochmah, 2 parts, first printed edition. Sefer segulah for an easy birth. "Koretz" [Laszczow] 1815.
First printed edition. "Koretz" [Laszczow] 1815. Separate title page for Part II. (The year and place of print on the title page are forged. There are copies with a different title page. See the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book for information regarding the differences between the title pages.)

Important approbations, including: the Chozeh of Lublin, Harav Zvi Aryeh Malik, the author of the Beis Efraim and more. A sefer segulah for an easy birth. Harav Moshe Zvi Landau of Kleinwardein writes in his sefer, Shulchan Melachim, regarding the laws of childbirth: "It has become a widespread custom to place a book wrapped in a cloth under the head of a woman experiencing labor pains." In the gloss, he writes, "It is the custom to place the holy sefer Noam Elimelech and the holy sefer Ohr Hachochmah." Harav Yehaya Zilbershtein of Weitzen, author of Maasei LaMelech would send the sefer Ohr Hachochmah to women who were experiencing complications during childbirth, instructing that it be placed under the pillow to facilitate an easy birth.
Early binding, detached and without the spine. Falling apart. Very significant worming with damage to text. A number of tears with missing text. Stains. Poor condition.

הסכמות חשובות, בהם: החוזה מלובלין, רבי צבי אריה מאליק, בעל ה'בית אפרים' ועוד.
ספר סגולה ללידה קלה. רבי משה צבי לנדא מקליינווארדיין כותב בספרו: 'שלחן מלכים' בדיני יולדת "נתפשט המנהג להניח ספר מכורך במפה תחת ראש האשה שאחזוה צירי לידה" ובהגהה כותב "ונוהגים להניח ספר הקדוש נעם אלימלך וספר הקדוש אור החכמה" והגה"ק רבי ישעיה זילברשיין מוויטצען בעל 'מעשי למלך' היה רגיל לשלוח את הספר 'אור החכמה' לאשה היושבת על המשבר וצווה להשימו תחת הכר כדי שתוליד בניקל.
כריכה עתיקה מנותקת וללא שדרה. ספר מתפרק. נזקי עש מרובים מאוד עם פגיעות וחיסרון בטקסט. מספר קרעים עם חסר. כתמים. מצב גרוע.
