2 Vintage Naval Photos
2 vintage photos. The first is of a 20 foot sailing boat named Nova Espero. In 1951 Stanley Smith and Charles Violet left the Isle of Wright with British goods, they arrived in NY with the goods. Photo is from the British Information Services. The second photo is Winston Churchill greeting President Roosevelt in August of 1941 on a ship in Newfoundland to discuss the war, post war, as well as the Atlantic Charter which would become the founding principles of the Untied Nations. Unsure who the photo was taken by, or if it is an enlarged image of the original film reel, but it is a fantastic find! All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale. All items are shipped USPS or UPS and will be billed separately. A $12 handling fee is added to the shipping price per lot if shipped in house. Some items or large quantity of purchases will be packed and shipped via the UPS store. Local pickups are at our South Brunswick location on Friday, Saturday and Monday ONLY!
