A large domestic heating stove with a brass tray (coals) Brazero, Damascus, circa 1900. On his head is a crescent moon. Removable lid. Sculpted handles in a curved pattern. Inlaid with silver and copper in the pattern of twisted arabesques and geometrical patterns including signs of David on a hammerwork background. It bears the inscription 'Roshit Chochma Yerah Hashem', and 'Damascus Business'. Height: 96 cm. Source: private collection
