Dan Partoush is an Israeli painter and printmaker, born in 1936 in Algiers. He immigrated to Israel in 1954.
Partoush studied painting at the Avni Institute and then went to London and continued his art studies at the Saint Martin's Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in prints. After returning to Israel, he went to Paris and created there for several years.
Partoush's work at the beginning of his artistic career was mainly in an abstract style, influenced by the "New Horizons" group. Later, he changed his style of work and focused on pastel paintings of still lifes, with an emphasis on flowers. These paintings are full of life and color.
