The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Anagil wrote about him that he is a clear teaching teacher and that most of the instructions in the city of Kashoi are done by him (Responsa of the Rashag 87:16). Harav Chanoch Henoch Pak Hy”d, Dayan in Košice, authored Zichron Yosef.
