Collection of Nine Early (Antique) Silver Serving Spoons
These nine early serving spoons are silver and are listed as follows: 1) A Dutch 9" long spoon w/monogram hallmarked "Holland" with three other marks including a "D" - please see pics. 2) Approx 9 1/2" long silver spoon having an etched design w/four hallmarks including "JS". 3) A 9" monogrammed spoon stamped "E. Kinsey Cincinnati" - E. & D. Kinsey were American silversmiths active from 1844 to 1861. 4) Approx 8 1/2" long spoon monogrammed "Baker" and hallmarked "L. Seewald." 5) Spoon @ 8 3/4" long with monogram and four hallmarks including a lion and leopard w/crown. 6) A 8 1/2" long spoon with a slope to the bowl shape, appears very early and has two worn hallmarks, difficult to decipher. 7) Another 8 1/2" long spoon with a slope to the bowl shape, has a monogram, appears very early and has two worn hallmarks, difficult to decipher. 8) Antique silver spoon @ 8 1/4" long, has a monogram and is hallmarked "H. Best" on the reverse. 9) Spoon is 7 3/4" long, is engraved "RC" on the reverse, has four hallmarks with "1" being the first, others are hard to decipher. Lot of these early antique silver spoons weighs 14.07 troy ounces.
