Yayoi Kusama, Japanese, American, born 1929, limited edition lithograph on paper with a certificate of authenticity. Signed, and dated 1995 in pencil, lower right and center. Titled Visionary Light with Calligraphy in pencil, lower to the left. Numbered 21 of 50 in pencil, lower left. Matted and framed. This work is included in Yayoi Kusama Prints 1979 to 2017. A Catalog Raisonne. Comes with the certificate of authenticity Szes Forensic. Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese contemporary artist who works primarily in sculpture and installation, but is also active in painting, performance, video art, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts. Her work is based in conceptual art and shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism, surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and abstract expressionism, and is infused with autobiographical, psychological, and sexual content.
