RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL CASKET BOX W VASNETSOV PAINTING
A Russian silver enamel casket jewelry box featuring a miniature painting on the lid which shows Russian artwork after Viktor Vasnetsov, titled Knight at the Crossroads, 1882. Decorated with floral and geometrical cloisonne patterns to the sides and cover. Gold washed interior. Raised on four legs. The box has well decorated handles on two sides. Hallmarked with 88 silver proof and manufacturer marks. Russian Silver Jewelry Boxes For Collectors. Weight 429 g.
