An antique, limited edition Boui, Bouis album book with a graphic cycle by the Russian artist Boris Grigoriev or Grigorieff, 1886 to 1939. The book depicts sailors, prostitutes, dockers, and others, called Boui Bouis in France. Texts in French are from French writers Claude Farrer and Boris de Schletzer and Russian literary critic and poet Sergei Makovsky. 500 copies. Published by Petropolis Publishing House, 1924. Antiquarian Librarian Books, Collectible Russian Illustrated Books and Magazines.
