MANNER OF HERMANN SCHERER SWISS PORTRAIT PAINTING
Oil on canvas painting in the manner of Hermann Scherer, 1893 to 1927, a Swiss Expressionist artist, founder of the Rot-Blau art group. The artwork depicts a portrait of a young man against a rural landscape. Presumably a self-portrait. Undated. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Golden frame. Collectible Modernist Fine Art, Portraiture.

Frame 33 1/4 x 25 1/4 in. Canvas 28 x 20 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has slight craquelures. Small tiny holes in canvas on the bottom. Chips in frame. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
