Chikashige Morikawa, Japanese, active 1869 to 1880s, triptych woodblock print titled Noble Ladies Enjoying Cruising and Viewing Cherry Blossoms. This artwork captures a scene of elegance and leisure as noble ladies partake in the traditional Japanese pastime of cruising while enjoying the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
