Stanislav Zhukovsky, Russian, 1873 to 1944, an antique oil painting on board, Autumn, depicting an autumn rural landscape with cows, 19o2. Signed and dated, lower left. Framed. Privenance: from the collection of Sobolev, Leningrad. A printed paper label is on the backside. Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky was a Polish Russian painter and a member of Mir Iskusstva. He left a legacy from capturing Russian landscapes and pre revolutionary sites and the interior of Russian estate houses. In 1923, he left the Soviet Union for his ancestral homeland Poland.
