Alexander Calder, American, 1898 to 1976, a limited edition offset lithograph, Red Nose. Signed in the plate, lower right. Signed with complimentary hand signature and numbered 16 of 150, lower left. Framed. Edition: Maeght, Paris, Derriere le Miroir. Completed with a certificate of authenticity of the International Art Society, dated June 7, 1988, and signed by George Kopel, and a gold stamp. Alexander Calder was an American sculptor known both for his innovative mobiles kinetic sculptures powered by motors or air currents that embrace chance in their aesthetic, his static stabiles, and his monumental public sculptures.
