Erte or Romain de Tirtoff, Russian, French, 1892 to 1990, limited edition lithograph on paper, Pillow Swing. Circa: 1985. The artwork depicts a portrait of a woman standing next to a sofa with pillows. Signed lower right. Numbered, HC 39 of 40, lower left. Framed. Romain de Tirtoff was a Russian and French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
