Erte or Romain de Tirtoff, Russian, French, 1892 to 1990, limited edition serigraph on paper, Pillow Swing, from his series of costume and set designs for the Folies Bergere, 1985. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, 25 of 300, lower left. Framed. Romain de Tirtoff was a Russian and French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
