RUSSIAN SILVER GOLD AND ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE
A Russian silver cigarette case of a rectangular shape with rounded corners applied with 21K gold overlays depicting signatures, gold monograms, enameled military badges and engraved motifs to the hinged cover. The backside also features gold overlays, an enameled monogram depicting K with an anchor, possibly for Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich and an enameled Russian Imperial double-headed eagle set with ruby cabochons. Gilt wash interior. Holds a push button lock. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard, an 875 gold mark for 21K gold, George the Victorious for Moscow, and other makers and assay marks.
