ANTIQUE BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN GUANYIN FIGURE
An antique Chinese glazed Dehua porcelain sculpture. Late Qing dynasty, before 1912. The artwork represents Guanyin, a Chinese Bodhisattva associated with compassion, with lotus flowers at her feet. Traces of hieroglyphical hallmarks are on the bottom. Dehua porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine, is a type of white Chinese porcelain made at Dehua in the Fujian province. Collectible Chinese Porcelain Decor, Oriental Buddhist Art.
Dimensions: H 5 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
