1925 INDIAN HEAD $2 1/2 QUARTER EAGLE GOLD COIN
A 1925 Indian Head $2 1/2 Quarter Eagle gold coin designed by Bela Lyon Pratt. The obverse depicts an Indian head capped with a war hat with Union stars around the rim and the date at the bottom with the inscription Liberty. The reverse depicted an eagle on bundles with olive twigs with the denomination below with the inscriptions E Pluribus Unum and In God We Trust. The coin is recognized as part of the creative renaissance of American coinage. The Indian Head design was produced from 1908 to 1929. American Gold Coins And Numismatic Collectibles.
