A vintage oil painting on canvas depicting a double portrait of kids after the original oil painting on canvas, In The Cold, by Leon Bazille Perrault, French, 1832 to 1908. Signed by the artist, D. Canti, lower right. Framed. Leon Jean Bazille Perrault was a French academic painter. A student of William Bouguereau and François Edouard Picot, he exhibited at the Salon from 1863 onwards, producing many genre works which were immensely popular. He was famous for his le petit naufrage and his paintings of children. One of a kind artwork.
