FEMALE PORTRAIT DRAWING ATTR TO PHILIP MARTIN
Attributed to Philip Martin (British, 1927 to 2004) charcoal on paper drawing depicting a portrait of a woman in profile. Signed lower left, dated 1975, with the dedication to Ceil. Matted and framed. Philip Martin was a visionary painter working with collage and sculpture, defined by the well-known French critic Alain Jouffroy "the Gandhi of modern painting”.
