Lady's parasol, ca. 1940/50
Parasol for lady, European work circa 1940/1950. Total height: 92 cm.
Parasol formed by different textiles in yellow tones that play with each other by their different placement, forming a square and an octagon, both outside and inside the umbrella. The outer canopy is covered with a delicate white textile lace with plant motifs as decoration. Wooden cane topped by incised decoration with Egyptian motifs on both sides. Missing its tip. Very good preservation.
