Antique fan from Brussels (Belgium) or France made around 1890 in fine Brussels lace, in the technique called “point à l’aguille”. Two symmetrical bouquets consisting of leaves frame another floral bouquet located in the centre of the composition. A border of flowers frames this set, which in turn is applied on a thin tulle ornamented with painted daisies and other flowers. The painted sinuous lines, light and dark, represent the stems of these flowers. Plain ribs made of mother-of-pearl. Rivet with mother-of-pearl rosettes to match the ribs. Perfect condition
