38 leaves. 18 cm. Handwritten signature of the title page: "הק' חיים בן הגאון כמוהר"ר שמשון שליט בכרך".


Rabbi Yair Chaim ben Rabbi Moshe Shimshon Bachrach (1638-1702) one of the greatest Ashkenazic Poskim. Authored dozens of Halachic books including the famed Shut Chavot Yair. Served as Rav in Worms. The name Yair was added to his name Chaim after he became sick. 


Renewed leather binding. Stains. Some moth damage. Tiny blemishes to the title page and a blemish to the leaf of the foreword. Good condition.
