Letter by Rabbi David Weitzel Av Beis Din of Baranovich
Letter by the Gaon Rabbi David Weitzel, the last Rav of Baranovich, to Vaad Hayeshivos, 1926.
In his letter, Rabbi Weitzel asks that someone come to empty the charity boxes of Vaad Hayeshivos in Baranovich.
Rabbi David Weitzel, one of the leading rabbis of Lithuania, was appointed as the Rav of Baranovich after the passing of his father-in-law, the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Lubchansky and his son, the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Lubchansky, the Mashgiach of th yeshiva.
