Blessings for Livelihood and Success by Maran the Chofetz Chaim of Radin

Letter of blessings with the handwritten signature of Maran the Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisroel Meir of Radin, to the man who assisted in distributing his booklet.

On official stationery, Maran the Cofetz Chaim, the Cohen who lovingly blesses his people, blesses Rabbi Isser Hacohen who, as indicated by his son-in-law Rabbi Aharon hacohen, published the Chofetz Chaim's booklet.

The Chofetz Chaim sends blessings for life, peace, livelihood and success: בעד המצוה הגדולה והנשגבה הזאת [י]שלם ד' פעלו ותהי משכרתו שלמה מד' בזה ובבא ויהי ד' בעזרו להוסיף [או]מץ במעשי הצדקה והחסד עם לומדי תורה"ק גם לימים יבואו וזכות התורה יעמוד לו [ויפ]יק ד' עליו שפע חיים ושלום פרנסה והצלחה מרובה בכל עניניו וימלא כל משאלותיו לטובה [כח]פצו וכחפץ המכבדו ומוקירו and adds his signature: Yisroel Meir Hacohen.

Maran the Chofetz Chaim also added his stamp. The letter is dated Adar B, 1929.

On the title page of the Kuntres, the Chofetz Chaim's son-in-law wrote that the present Ma'amar by his father-in-law, the Chofetz Chaim, was published dozens of years ago. However, due to the censor's demand, he was forced to add it to the HaPeles journal. Now it is printed for the first time to be distributed.

[1] official stationery from the 1920s. Fold lines and restored wear, affecting some letters and words of the text (those appearing in parentheses in the above quote). Good condition.
