Sefer Panim Chadashot. [encyclopedia for] Hilchot Tur and novellae on the Sugyot of the Shas Bavli and Yerushalmi and Leshonot Haposkim, by Rabbi Yitzchak ben Rabbi Avraham Chaim Yeshurun. The press of [Andrea] Vendramin, Venice, [1651]. First and rare edition. Signatures of Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Algazi, Rabbi David de Buton and Rabbi Eliezer ben Rabbi Yosef Bergman. 


[4], 159 leaves. Several owner's signatures including those of Rabbi David de Buton and Rabbi Eliezer ben Rabbi Yosef Bergman. 


Rabbi Chaim Yehuda ben Rabbi Shlomo Algazi (passed away in Safed in Adar 1713) - one of the sages of Izmir, author of Shevet Yehuda. The Rav od Rabbi Moshe Danon. Novellae by him were introduced in the books of his nephew, the Rishon LeZion, Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov ben Rabbi Yom Tov Algazi, She'erit Yaakov and Shema Yaakov. 


Rabbi David Ben Rabbi Yehuda de Buton - author of Sefer Yad David (Salonika, 1859). Published the book of his grandfather Rabbi Avraham de Buton, Machazeh Avraham (Salonika, 1795). 


Rabbi Eliezer Bergman (1799-1852) - the son of Rabbi Binyomin Av Beis Din of Heidenheim. Disciple of his father, of Rabbi Avraham Wolf Hamburger and of Rabbi Avraham Halevi Bing. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1835 and founded the Kollel Hod of Jerusalem. Was sent as a Shadar of Kollel Hod and the Kollel of the Sephardic community of Jerusalem and passed away in Berlin. His remains were brought to Israel in 1972. Left many writings, of which his novellae on the Shas, on Halachot Hatluyot BaAretz and Shut were published. 


Renewed binding. Blemishes and taping to the title page. Minor blemishes to some leaves. Stains. Moth holes. Fair-good condition.
