The Holy Admor Rabbi Shlomo'nyu of Chortkov (1894-1959) The last Rebbe of the beautiful Chortkov dynasty. Son of the Holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Mordechai of Chortkov, and son-in-law of his uncle the Holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Sadigura. During World War I, he moved with his father to Vienna. In 1934 he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Tel Aviv. After his father's passing, in 1946, he succeeded him has Admor of Chortkov. Was recognized as one of the noble of Ruzhyn. His Beis Midrash on Achad Haam Street attracted all those thirsting Chassidut, Torah and fear of Heaven through royalty and nobility that silently reigned there. His Divrei Torah was printed in Sefer Divrei Shlomo.
