[4], 103 leaves. Approbations by the greatest Ashkenazic and Sephardic rabbis of Hamburg, Prague and Venice. In his approbation, Chacham Zvi writes that although he had stated not to write approbation for new books, he is making an exception since "the light has shone from the east the great Rav Rabbi Avraham Brodo ... the most special of the great rabbis of Kushtandina". Owner's signatures on the title page, on the following leaf and on the last leaf. This copy does not contain the leaf with the approbations by the rabbis of Venice and an Italian leaf. 


Rabbi Avraham Brodo - Rav and Darshan. Authored his book Birkas Avraham when he was in Amsterdam, writing the sermons he had delivered in Jushta and Andrinapoli for over fifty years. In his old age, he traveled to varied countries for Mitzvas Pidyon Shvuyim, receiving approbation for his book on the way. 


Renewed binding with gilt lettering. [2] leaves are missing before the author's introduction. Stains. Restored title page. Good condition.
