Toldos Yaakov Yosef, Mahadura Tanina. Mezhibuzh, 1817.

Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef which was printed in Mezhibuzh in  1817. The second edition with the approbation of the holy Rav the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow.

The copy contains many stamps: "M.B. HOFFMAN/ - M.SZIGETH". We have not explored who Rabbi Hoffman of Siget is. Additional ancient and new ownership notations including by Avraham Feldman.

Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef, the first Chassidic book that was printed, was authored by a disciple of the holy Besht.

A copy of a special edition that was printed in Mezhibuzh, in 1817. In some copies of this edition, after the approbation by the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow, it is written, by mistake, that it was printed in 1780, maybe copied from the title page of the Koretz 1780 edition. Other copies, however, were corrected. This is a copy with the correct year of printing. Stefansky Chassidus 606.
