To Stir Pity for the Tzaddik of Rozdol! Letter by His Son the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Solom Taub

Letter written by the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Sholom Taub to Kollel Shomrei HaChomos, with a touching request to pray for his father the holy Rav of Rodzol Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel Taub. Margaretin, 1937. 


In his letter, he asks 'Stir pity for my father and teacher the Tzaddik of Rozdol Shalita Yosef Yehuda Yechiel ben Feige among the other sick of Yisroel' and notes that he put Pidyon Nefesh for charity in the charity box of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos. 

On verso of the postcard, the personal stamp of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel. 


The holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel Taub of Rozdol [1887-1937] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas Chaim of Rizdol the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Zvi of Rozdol and the grandson of Rabbi Isaac of Kaliv. Succeeded his forefathers in Margaretin and Rozdol. His succeeding son was the Admor of Kaliv who survived the Holocaust. His eldest son was the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Sholom, the writer of this letter. His compositions that were published include Lev Same'ach HaChadash, Toras Yechiel and more.
