Most important manuscript, containing facts and stories by Maran Ateres Tiferes Yisroel of Ruzhin. At its center, his virtues and lofty level and with them, chapters of his history and the time he was imprisoned. Historical to the Chassidic world!

Famed is the virtue of telling the praise of Tzaddikim, their holy virtues, their deeds and piety. Maran the holy Rav of Ruzhin said that mentioning the praise of Tzaddikim and their salvation has the power to influence the world and the entire Beis Yisroel favorably.

This is a wonderful, handwritten composition containing many stories about the imprisonment of the holy Rav of Ruzhin and his history, the greatness of his soul and that of the holy Tzaddikim Or Shivas Hayamim the holy Ba'al Shem Tov, his disciple the great Maggid and his succeeding sons the holy Rav of Prohovitsh, the holy Rav the Malach, and the holy Rav of Ruzhin, as said.

This composition was a kind of completion and addition to another manuscript which was published under the title Yeshu'os Yisroel in 1904 in Podgorze and later in Jerusalem in 1956 and had additional editions.
For many years, it was unknown that this manuscript belongs to Sefer Yeshu'os Yisroel. After meticulous study and research, in 1990 Sefer Magdil Yeshu'os was published by the Siftei Tzaddikim Institute headed by Maran the Admor of Kopitshnitz Shalita. The edition was based on a photocopy of this manuscript owned by the institute. This is the complete original manuscript, containing stories and new facts that were unknown to the authors of all the editions of Yeshu'os Yisroel.

The manuscript contains 15 matters and complete stories and an additional, incomplete story. The manuscript contains three leaves written on both their sides, a total of six pp, all in fine script – without any corrections of errors, indicating they were written by a distinguished person. The manuscript contains the entire composition, ending with the words 'I have heard from his pure and sacred mouth…' implying that the stories were heard from Maran Ateres Tiferes of Ruzhin himself, as indicated also by the words 'I have heard in Ruzhin by Maggidei Emes' which appear in the manuscript. From the holy court it was sent to his son Maran the holy Rav Rabbi Dabid Moshe of Chortkov yet it was not printed for more than a hundred years.
apparently, the writer was a distinguished person who heard the stories from close confidantes of Maran the holy Rav of Ruzhin.

[3] handwritten leaves. Placed in a binding, a total of [6] pp. At the beginning of the composition, the notation 'ב"ה'. Some wear and aging stains. Very good general condition.
