Lengthy leaf handwritten by the famed Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer the author of the Chashav Sofer, from the innovations of the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel landau, the son of the Nodah BiYehuda. Berlin, 1925. 


Copying of the Torah innovations of the Gaon Rabbi SHmuel Landau, the on of Maran the Nodah BiYehuda, handwritten by the great Gaon rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer of Pressburg, the son of Maran the Da'as Sofer Rabbi Akiva of Pressburg and the future Gaon Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Pressburg. Author of Sefer Chashav Sofer. 

At the end of the copying, he wrote: 'I have copied here...  on Wednesday Vayechi 1925, berlin, I the young Avraham Shmuel Sofer...' 


Part of the manuscript is in print script. 


The renowned Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer Gaon Av Beis Din and Ram of Pressburg [1902-1962] the son and successor of Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Sofer Gaon Av Beis Din and Ram of Pressburg and the great-grandson of Maran the author of the Chassam Sofer. He diligently studied Torah with his father . When his father immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, he was appointed the Rav of Pressburg. In Eretz Yisroel, he established the Chassam Sofer Shelter for refugees and the Pressburg Yeshiva headed by his great father. He succeeded his father as Rosh Yeshiva, as Rav of Pressburg and was also a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and the president of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos. Passed away several years after his father's passing.



[1] sheet of paper, on the back of a Sefer Kodesh. Considerable wear. Tears to the lower part of the leaf, not affecting the text. Stains. The text is in good condition.
