Holy Letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Studying Chassidus. Hanukkah, 1960
Lengthy, special letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, dealing at length with the connection between the days of Hanukkah and the 19th of Kislev. Hanukkah, 1960.
In the letter, the Rebbe writes at length about the deep connection between Hanukkah and Rosh Hashana of Chassidus and their joy. Both Hanukkah and Chassidus involve the matter of Mehadrin and Mehadrin min HaMehadrin. In addition, at first not everyone thought that Chassidus should be studied extensively; yet, just as the Rema eventually ruled so, today, everyone admits that it should be studied so.
The Rebbe added his handwritten signature on the second leaf and the blessing 'Happy Hanukkah and good tidings on all matters'.
The Rebbe added several words on the first leaf also.
