. Interesting letter written in the handwriting and signed by HaRav Haim Berlin, 1886.

One letter of 4 pages: On two there is the letter from HaRav Haim Berlin, 15 of Sivan, Bialy, to the Rav Zalman Haim Rivlin, on the issue of the distribution of etrogs from the Land of Israel in Russia (Kavnasak) and their sale, about which the rabbi wrote “…while I accept all of this upon myself, for which this is clearly a gift for me, the honor of working on this issue in cooperation with the miserable widow and daughters of the late Rav Yitzhak Yaakov HaSofer…who showed the way to the men of Kavnasak…” Written in the margins of the letter after the writing on the same page in his handwriting is the signature of HaRav Moshe Tzvi Sheinfeld, Kavnasak, who also works on the issue of etrogs. 3 written pages, 30 lines in Reb Haim Berlin’s handwriting. Paper is in good condition, big water stain on the text that is still possible to read.
