First edition, published by the sons of the author the holy righteous, as they note in the introduction: 'רוב קדושתו וצדקתו, אשר הקדיש כל ימיו לתורה ועבודה בדביקות ויראה גדולה במסירת נפש ממש, מנעוריו עד אשר איתקטר בחד קטורא לחיי עלמא ואת אשר ראו עינינו ביום פטירתו אין די באר כי קידש עצמו כשרפי מעלה ביחודים והתלהבות גדול לא פסק רגע עד אשר דבקה נפשו באור עליון וסיגף עצמו כל ימיו באש ובמים במקואות אין שיעור וצדקת פזרונו ... כמעט נראה בחוש שכינה מדברת מתוך גרונו ...'.
