Important historical information on the connection between Karlin dynasty with Agudat Yisrael. Letter from Hrh"k Rabbi Nachum Shlomo Perlow of Koznitz to his uncle Hrh"k Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Stolin - Detroit, With additional written lines added by his mother.
Important letter from Hrh"k Rabbi Nachum Shlomo Perlow of Koznitz, son of Hrh"k Rabbi Moshe of Stollin, son of Hrh"k Rabbi Yisrael the 'Yanuka' (- the Frankfurter) of Stolin, which was sent to his uncle Hrh"k Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Stolin – Detroit, With additional written lines added by his mother.

The letter is all hand written personally by Rabbi Nachum Shlomo notifying his uncle about the birth of his daughter which he named 'Sarah Gitele' bearing the name of his grandmother from Stolin and the name of the mother of his mother-in-law from Koznitz.
Further he relates the chronology of his election as Rabbi of Koznitz and the efforts made to approve his Rabbinate by the government.
He also tells about the establishment of the Great and beautiful Yeshiva in Warsaw, which he founded and established, 'ויש לה שם כאחת הישיבות הגדולות' (it has a name as one of the great Yeshivot).
Appearing from the letters description it appears to have been written on the 13th day of Tevat 1938, shortly after he was elected as Rav in Koznitz in 1937, likewise the founding of the Yeshiva in Warsaw was in Nissan of 1937. The Knessia Gedola as well was Elul of 1937.

His mother the Rabbanit  Devorah wife of the Holy Rabbi Moshe of Stolin, and daughter of the Holy Rabbi Pinchas of Kantikozva from the Linitz dynasty, added with her holy hand writing in Yiddish, blessings for children to Hrh"k Rabbi Yaakov Chaim and his spouse who have not yet been blessed with children, and other well wishes.

[1] paper page, holy hand written on both sides, signed and stamped.
Noticeable fold marks. Some ink stains. Small hole in the center of the page, with nothing missing from text. Tears on the bottom margin with nothing missing. Good condition.
