Plate for Seder night. Europe, 20th century.
Silver (stamped), hammering of high quality. Plate edges are adorned with megillah shaped ornamentations, each with a detailed illustration of an episode from the song of Chad Gadya (a kid, a cat, a dog etc.). In the center of the plate are inscriptions: "Pesach", "Matzah", "Maror" [Bitter Herbs], "Yetzi'at Mitzrayim" [Exodus from Egypt].
