High quality Swiss pocket watch, back and front covered with silver lids engraved with floral and geometric decorations. On front lid, owner's name engraved: "Eli' David" - the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu David Slotky, author of Yad Eliyahu - encyclopedic index to the Ari's kabbalist work Aderet Eliyahu - encyclopedia on the Zohar and other books.
Enclosed is a copy of a letter from his son, testifying that this watch belonged to Rabbi Eliyahu David and he used it for many years. 7x5 cm. Fair condition. Damaged watch mechanism, missing hands, detached enamel plate with damaged edges.
