Magnificent tray, many embossments of pictures of Indian rural life: trees, houses and images of performing various activities. At center, engraved inscription to Sir David Ezra (1871-1947) and his wife, of the leaders of the Magen David Synagogue in Calcutta, dated November 5, 1912: "To Mr. and Mrs. David E. Ezra, From the Board of Munheeghim Maghen David Synagogue, Calcutta". Length: 55 cm. (including handles), width: 33.5 cm.
