Kabbalistic vessel, for coals for the burning of incense, or for the immersion of an infant. Eretz Israel, Persia or Egypt, late 19th century or early 20th century.
Copper, hammered and engraved.
Three rows of decorations. Top row contains embossed inscription "Ben Porat Yosef Ben Porat Alei Ayinג€¦", with decorations of figurines, flowers and animals. Lower row decorated with animals and flowers.
Height: 31-32 cm, diameter: 33.5-36 cm. Fair-good condition. Slightly bent, corrosion marks.
