Rare Letter from Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Moshe Moskowicz of Sulitza, Father of Rabbi Shalom of Shatz

Letter from Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Moshe Moskowicz of Sulitza requesting that the title "Rabbi" be given to his nephews so that they be exempt from army conscription. His nephews were Rabbi Yitzchak of Radewitz and Rabbi Moshe Aryeh of Tchernowitz, sons of Rabbi Meir of Shatz.

The letter was sent from Botosani, Romania in 1921 and is written on personal stationary complete with Rabbi Yosef Moshe's handwritten signature.
