Letter written and signed by Rabbi Shaul Moshe Zilberman "HaRav from Viarshev" in Tel Aviv. To Rabbi Uziel, Chief Rabbi of the city. 1931.
On the margins of the page Rabbi Uziel wrote: "Thank you for his precious letter, and a request to respond to the Cuntras by our messenger."
The Gaon Rabbi Shaul Moshe Zilberman (1850-1939) was a Magnificent ga'on of Poland and a disciple of the Avnei Nezer. He served as rabbi in several communities in Poland, and was known mainly for the name of his rabbinate in Viarshev. He also served as a judge in Tel Aviv. He was associated with the Gur Rebbes and was well known as the rabbi of the Gur Hasidim in the Land of Israel.
