A quarter-dollar coin obtained from the holy hands of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
A quarter-dollar coin (25 cents a quarter) given by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
During the years of the presidency, there were a number of occasions during which the Rebbe arranged a districution of coins at special events. These distributions are in addition to the charity coins that the Rebbe gives to children to give to charity when he enters and leaves the Tfilah, and when he arrives at 770 or leaves the mikveh,
The matter of blessing the currency from the Rebbe: On Chnuka 1952 The Rebbe called the Yeshivah students in 770 who kept the Seder Limud in Chasidut. The Rebbe told them a Sicha and at the end of the he announced that he would give them Hanukkah money from the Rabbi's treasury and whoever takes it is blessed. Afterwards, the Rebbe distributed one coin to each of them.
If so, we have a coin from the Rebbe, and it is appropriate to bring blessing to the holder.
