Important document detailing the ownership arrangements and state of affairs of the Yeshiva and Kibbutz of Yeshiva Mercaz Ha’Torah Montreal. Signed by R. Aryeh Leib Baron, R. Pinchos Hirshprung, R. Avrohom Dovid Niznik and R. Mordechai Eliyahu Rabinowitz.
R. Pinchos Hirshprung (1912-1998), was the Chief Rabbi of Montreal, Canada and one of the great students of R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin. He was a world renowned Talmid Chochom, famous for his almost unparalleled Torah knowledge. During the War he went from Vilna to Shanghai and in 1941 he reached Canada.
