Binyan Halacha on the RaMBaM, the first published work by the famed genius R. Chaim Zimmerman. With a lengthy handwritten inscription by the author.
Includes approbations by R. Baruch Ber Leibowitz of Kaminetz and Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevy Herzog. In his approbation, R. Herzog attests that the young author was fully knowledgeable in the entire Talmud Bavli and Yerushalmi, Rishonim and Achronim.
R. Aaron Chaim Zimmerman (1914-1995), was born in Konotop, Ukraine to R. Yaakov Moshe Zimmerman who was a brother-in-law of R. Boruch Ber Leibowitz. He was known as a prodigy from a young age and as a teenager he studied with his uncle in the Kaminetz Yeshiva. He immigrated to the U.S and received Semicha from R. Moshe Soloveitchik. He served as Rosh Yeshiva in the Skokie Yeshiva in Chicago until 1964, when he moved to Eretz Yisroel where he lived until his passing. Author of Agan Ha’S’Har among others.
