Classic work of novella and elucidations on the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat, by R. Yisroel Isser. Received to great acclaim, it is one of the prime seforim on Choshen Mishpat and is widely studied in Yeshivos.
R. Yisroel Isser (died 1829), was a descendant of the Ma’Harsha and a Mechutan of the Noda B’Yehuda. Enormously respected, he was associated with many of the great Chasidic Rebbes including the Chozeh of Lublin and R. Levy Yitzchok of Berditchev.
