Zecher Rav, roots of the holy tongue, by the chacham Rabbeinu Binyamin son of Emmanuel Mussafiah. Before us are three different editions of the book.
* Zecher Rav, with German explanation with roots, and Taam Zekeinim. Two title pages. With approbations by Rabbi Ephraim Eliezer Charlap of Tiktin, Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Halberstat of Dubno. Handwritten signature, "Luria" in the book, as well as owner's stamps. Very fine condition, original binding. Ostroh 1835. Fine condition.

Contains the signature of the gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sternberg [1843-1916] was born in Urisor and studied Torah with the author of Ktav Sofer and the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet of Dej. This immense scholar immigrated to the Land of Israel and settled in Safed. He was among the head of the Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes charity fund and of the Zibenbergen kollel. His sons-in-law were Rabbi Shmuel Luria, adjudicator in Safed, and Rabbi Shimshon Heiman. [HaChatam Sofer U'Talmidav p. 517]. Additional signature: Fishel Aharon Rabinowitz, and more. Vilna, 1863.
